About Dr. Clorfeine-Alter

I grew up just down the road in Frisco, Texas and graduated from Centennial High School. I knew from a very young age I wanted to be a pediatric physician and have always loved working with children of all ages. My undergraduate education was completed in Austin, TX at the University of Texas (Hook 'Em!), where I majored in biology with a concentration in children and health.

I completed medical school at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston followed by 5 years of child neurology residency training at Washington University in St. Louis.

After many years away, I realized there is no place like home and am very excited to be serving the Dallas community at Texas Child Neurology!

Throughout my training, I have developed a deep appreciation for the breadth of child neurology and the privilege of caring for patients across various stages of their lives. What draws me most to this field of work is the opportunity for longitudinal care: to not only diagnose and manage neurologic conditions but to build lasting relationships with patients and families over time.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our dog, Sammy, as well as jigsaw puzzles, reality TV, and listening to my favorite music artists.
